Just because Shadow Priests don’t value Spirit very highly it doesn’t mean that other cloth wearers, and Blizzard, feel the same way.

But I Can’t Use a Sword?

What do the Torch of Holy Fire and Guiding Star have in common? Mp5. Even Shadowpriest.com classify it as a “healing” weapon. Mp5 has no damage-increasing value to a Shadow Priest. We have scads of mana regenerating abilities, passive and active, at our disposal. Trust me, we don’t need Mp5. So guess what the new Shadow Priest best-in-slot weapon is from Icecrown Citadel?

Learning the Wrong Lesson

I think my tank in Heroic Pit of Saron let me die yesterday. I think he was trying to teach me a lesson. Honestly this tank wasn’t completely in the wrong to try and teach me a lesson.

Naughty or Nice on Mannoroth

Noxn, an Undead Shadow Priest (who also plays a Dwarf Shadow Priest and Blood Elf Death Knight) on Mannoroth, has created two great World PVP videos. In the first video he griefs a guild member as his Alliance Shadow Priest. Unfortunately the guild member has no idea that Lipstikx is Noxn and the guild chat is priceless.

The DoTs in HoTs & DoTs

A Q&A for DPS (unnamed) was started by Death Goddess. I thought it was a great idea and it was very sensible of Death Goddess to let the temperamental healers and tanks have their moment in the spotlight first. I refuse to subscribe to a blog written by a Death Knight so I had no idea that this was actually started a couple weeks back.

News Flash: I’ve identified an emerging armor design trend. It’s not just about the giant, spiky, flaming shoulders anymore. It’s not about the helms you can’t actually see out of (ok, that’s still around in next season’s collection). It’s about the belt. Have you seen the belts in Trial of the Crusader and the belts being modeled with the Tier 10 gear?

If you haven’t already you should head over to MMO-Champion and check out the Tier 10 set bonuses and armor gallery (partially revealed). Most Shadow Priests currently hover somewhere in the first sweet spot at 9%-10% Haste to fit 2 Mind Flays in between our Mind Blast cooldown. Is it finally time to break free and collect a ton of Haste gear?

Our 10 man group defeated Algalon the Observer on Sunday. If you’re following Lathere’s and my Achievements closely you probably already know that. It took us 3 weeks – 2 hours and 33 minutes all up to get him.

Remind Me to Roll, Please

I have this terrible habit of missing out on loot because I don’t pay attention and forget to roll. It’s my own fault of course. Too busy ressurecting people who died on the opposite side of the room from the boss.
