Just When You Think There’s No Hope

It’s been an interesting couple of raid weeks for me. I know that raiding has its cycles, but I feel like we’ve just been on a roller coaster.

In the fallout of the 25 or 10 man raiding arguments flying around the World of Warcraft blogging community I find myself thinking about prestige. The prestige of being part of a successful 25 man guild. And if, indeed, there is any prestige to be found in raiding at all. Is it something we make up in our own minds?

On Sunday night while Vitare was bashing their heads against Heroic Northern Beasts, we got some pretty shocking news. One of the top Alliance guilds on the server was disbanding. These were the players chasing the leading Alliance guild for fastest progression on the realm.
