HoTs and DoTs: A Restoration Druid and Shadow Priest

The Insane and the Auction House

Like most players considering the Insane in the Membrane Feat of Strength I’m referring back to Saate and Fannin’s excellent guides time and time again. But I’m not following their guides strictly. Even I wasn’t prepared for exactly how much gold I would have to throw at the Auction House to progress.

Inscription and Glyph Prices

When I decided to make an effort to succeed at selling glyphs, I went to the Auction House as Xata, called up my Inscription crafting window and started searching for glyphs that were listed for a lot and by just one or two people. I stumbled upon my first major competitor and my first in-demand glyph: the Glyph of Devastate.

Inscription and Demand

Those reasons remain true and valid (except for that last one now that the shoulder enhancements are Bind to Account). But now that I can make a whole bunch of glyphs, Darkmoon cards, vellum and junk a part of my brain still can’t quite adjust to this profession. And it’s the part of my brain that wonders how it’s possible to make gold out of the profession.

Welcome to the Alliance!

On the weekend I replied to a Druid in Trade chat trying to get from Darnassus to Stormwind. He was level 80. And he’d just changed his Tauren Restoration Druid into a Night Elf. So if you’re new to Alliance too, click on the Stormwind map above and you’ll know where everything worth knowing is in Stormwind.
