I’m an officer in a casual raiding guild, and I’ve had this trouble before also. Our guild has a 3-strikes-and-you’re-gkicked policy. If you /w the guy and he gives u any trouble (and doesn’t immediately apologise), then take a screenshot of the converdation and post it in the officer section of your forum. Thats his first strike, and it’s important that the neutral officers are aware of it. Also remove him immediately from the raid as he is not helping morale – a quiet pug is better than an asshat bringing everyone down.

We’ve only had to forcibly remove a player from the guild once, and a couple of times the asshats got pissed and left by themselves. It’s never a nice situation to be in, but after they leave (or are kicked), I always see a wave of support from the ranks. The truth is, none of your guild are paying their subscription so they can listen to abuse. The officers really need to react, otherwise the asshats end up happy and guildies end up down-spirited.

@jorge Ok I’ll have a looksie at your gear and shoot you an email with some questions. It may be more of a healing style thing than gear between yourself and the other resto druid.

Hi, I have some issues with my gear and i dont know where i seem to be going wrong, I know that i am trying to go raise my haste to close to 856 which i managed just fine when i picked some pieces but its gotten to the point where the other resto druid in the raid who has 300 less haste is doing a lot better job in the meters than i am. And i dont expect to be top heals but I am not even close.

I know you guys said up there i should pick a tier piece over a single piece but i fear that ill lose haste in the process, but the way things stand out i just dont know what i am doing wrong to not be using that haste efficiently. Should i go for 4 pieces T10 set and stop waiting on the chieftain staff to drop and just pick one of those one handers that usually drop like the trauma mace.

I remember the first time I did Mara, I don’t even know what color we did.

But it was 4 hours of hell

Myself and the friends I was levelling with (This was during Vanilla) swore we would never go back there, ever. This kind of guide is the sort of thing which could have saved us hours and hours!!

@Melvyl I don’t think there are any tanking heirlooms because, really, until the new Dungeon Finder was released you couldn’t really level up purely through instance tanking. Still don’t get why there is no Attack Power trinket.

@Channii/Zhan’ane Lathere and I were also handed Orange Crystals the moment we reached level 41. Can I say “miss miss miss miss miss”? We couldn’t kill Noxxion because our healer ran out of mana – the fight must have gone for about 5 minutes. However this is because Blizzard made a mistake and had the level requirements for Purple and Orange around the wrong way when Patch 3.3 was released. It is now fixed/correct for future generations of Dungeon Finder levelers!

@Analogue Dire Maul is definitely an instance/s that I’m unfamiliar with – I’ve already got maps printed out in preparation for those guides. I’m coming to love BRD, although I hate how it’s been split into 2 uneven segments, and I know my way around. I usually don’t aim to take my parties through a full clear when I get “Upper City” – it’s just too long.

@Darush Hehe usually if I know the dungeon a bit better than my other party members I will intentionally drag them to optional bosses before getting within site of what the Dungeon Finder says is the “final” boss, just to avoid people dropping group immediately! Unfortunately there’s just no way to sneak past Vyletongue in Purple Crystals – you walk right past him to keep going to Celebras.
