HoTs and DoTs: A Restoration Druid and Shadow Priest

Inscription: The Production Line

Seems pretty straight forward. But glyphs are one of the few, perhaps the only, finished product from secondary professions that we are quite happy to buy directly from the Auction House instead of shopping around or finding a reputable crafter and pay a service fee.

It’s Just a Phase

I think I’m going through a why-am-I-playing-this-game-again? phase.

There’s No Such Thing as an Exploit

It seems that so many of the extremely difficult boss kills this expansion are being declared as invalid or unfair by Blizzard. Because the guilds in question discovered something that turned the encounter in their favor and used it. Exodus’s world first Alone in the Darkness was considered to be an exploit because the guild discovered they could seriously confuse the spawned Guardians in the final phase by a Holy Paladin messing around with brain portals and threat.

It’s a Train Wreck and I Can’t Look Away!

I’ve never done a blogroll spotlight before but this one had me so intrigued I felt it deserved a post of its own.  Now for some twisted reason I very much enjoy reading other peoples experiences (especially when it goes oh so bad) in dungeons and raids and I have a feeling that quite a [...]

Inscription and Demand

Those reasons remain true and valid (except for that last one now that the shoulder enhancements are Bind to Account). 2009 Wrap Up, The Pink Pigtail Inn List

So below are the Hots & Dots nominations for 2009.

15 Things You Should Know About
the Dungeon Finder

Guess which feature of 3.3 had me the most excited? Not Icecrown Citadel (a gated raid instance launched at the start of the holiday season?), not hasted Devouring Plague and Vampiric Touch. The new cross-battlegroup Dungeon Finder matching system.

Since yesterday I’ve been queuing them pretty much non stop. Some on my Shaman, because my Priest was swallowed whole by the glitchy new dungeons in Icecrown for hours on end and couldn’t be retrieved.

I think there’s a severe “pures” shortage on my server, Barthilas. Good, raiding Mages and Warlocks? A dying breed. Even Hunters seem to be a bit scarce.

Fun with VuhDo: The Battleground Preparation Game!

With VuhDo, if they’re in my raid and in range, I can see their guild rank. That includes Battlegrounds. Yes, that’s right. This is now my favourite Battleground preparation game. While you’re buffing, I’m scrolling over my frames.
