Holy Priest Set Bonuses
(and Tires with Spikes)

Cassandri and Lathere would like to introduce Snakevenom, a golden Holy Priest. After a Vent discussion regarding the change to the healing Priest Tier 10 set bonuses he posted the following article on our guild forums. We thought it was too interesting not to share. This post is by Snakevenom.

A Light Show

I am convinced that, somewhere along the path towards healing greatness, the Priest or Shaman must accurately be able to predict, and eventually plan for, the outcome of a Prayer of Mending or Chain Heal. Chain Heal? Restoration Shamans get a visual light show to tell us if we’ve been successful. The more white lights, the better. At the moment I’m thinking about Chain Heal.

How to Spell Noob

Patch 3.3 Resto Druid Gear Guide
For the 25 Man Raider

This gear guide is a follow up from my Patch 3.3 Gear Guide for the Casual/10 Man Raider. The guide is focused on raiders who have access to 25 man content through their guild. I’ve included 5-6 options for each slot to ensure that there is both heroic and non heroic items available for those raiders who don’t progress through 25 man heroic content.

Patch 3.3 Resto Druid Gear
for the Casual/10 Man Raider

While Icecrown Citadel has been gated, most gear and boss details have already been data mined which is great because we can start planning and making decisions about what gear upgrades are most achievable even before the bosses are available. Something to keep in mind is that the gear you gather at this final step of raiding will probably also form your leveling set when Cataclysm is released.

Patch 3.3 & I’m Not Ready

This week has seen a number of posts pop up around the blogosphere about all the upcoming changes and the preparation bloggers have put into making sure they are ready for patch 3.3’s release. I am so woefully unprepared for this new tier of raiding that I’m actually sitting here in front of my computer a bit mopey about it all. I’ve decided to stop avoiding it and instead outline for your entertainment all those things I have managed not to do in time for 3.3.

Lath’s VuhDo Layout

I’ve been asked by a few people what my layout settings are for VuhDo. I thought it would be easier to cover the topic as one single blog post with screen shots rather than by reply to each individual question posed by in game whispers, comments, twitter and email.

Battleground Independence

I watch as a single Paladin or Druid takes to the road picking off an unsuspecting passerby. I’ve started to call them Lone Rangers. They can operate independently. They can lead an attack. I can only follow.

The New Hybrid: Resto/Resto

My primary spec? Restoration. My secondary spec? Restoration.
The best part about having these two Restoration builds is that I am using both my specs, often swapping mid-raid, and my 1000g has definitely paid itself off. It also makes me a little sad. I never intended to be a tree when I rolled this Druid. I leveled Lath as Moonkin and loved it every minute of it until I realised at level 70 that raiding guilds wanted Resto Druids, not Balance Druids.

Tag, You’re It! The Healer Cypher

So the healing community of bloggers are calling out one another to fill in this questionnaire which is definitely not a meme. And because Tamarind asked, and I love reading his highly entertaining posts, how could I possibly deny him a response! The full list which is being labeled the Circle of Healers can be found here.
