That was my favorite help for a long time. I got it on my main (a NE priest) at level 35 or so while running Gnomeregan pre-BC. That toon ended up raiding Naxx before BC came out. Well guess what… I still have that same helm in the bank! I’m pretty sentimental that way.

Hi, grats on 80 Lathare, love your blog btw, anyway my mage is still level 57, I like to work and focus on her but have so much to do with my main toon who is a Human Priest. but as soon as I have free time, I spend time doing quests with my gnomie pink pigtail gnome lolx, mages in general are fun to play especially the cuteness being a gnome is a plus ehehe! .-= Christine's last blog ... My mage still has that helm in the bank. It’s amazing. I wore it as long as I could and was sad to replace it. You wouldn’t believe how many whispers I used to get about it. Forget flaunting your hard mode gear on the Dalaran bank steps. Showing off your Electromagnetic Gigaflux Reactivator is where its at.

I remember wanting that helm SOOOO bad with my many casters I have journeyed into Gnomer with. I agree it certainly seems easier now then it use to, but I still hate it. I loved that helm; I wore it on my mage for like 10 levels. I also loved the staff that dropped from the water elemental boss. It allows under water breathing and I carried it until I was exalted with Kalu’ak and could get the epic fishing pole.
