They implemented the pet in your character screen feature the Tuesday after I finally said goodbye to all my pets because I simply didn't have enough room for them anymore.

There was no "getting ready for pulls" as a paladin in Vanilla. There was only buffing. Constantly buffing. Before pulls, during pulls, after pulls. Buffing always. When not buffing, decursing (because every boss in Vanilla had some magic/poison/disease debuff that was constantly spammed).

Every now and then they'd throw in a heal, but really healing in Vanilla is what the 6-8 Holy priests were for.

On number 4, I was playing my shadow priest then, and I remember doing my dailies, starting to pull a mob using Shadow Word Death, THEN I'd immediately VE the mob, dot it up and loot. Was a little dangerous in a PvP zone but I got my quests done a lot faster.
