@ Shade I love that your comment, the only one from a rogue here, randomly came up as coloured in yellow. I love it! Yeah I used to play with MetaHUD so combo points/energy were close to the center of the screen but I’m not sure if that has been updated. Perhaps I’ll try DiscoDice.

I like playing the rogue. But I *love* my Shadow Priest. Just love her to pieces.

I went from being a healing priest to being a rogue, and let me tell you, being a rogue? Much easier. There’s two basics that you need to remember:

1. Don’t stand in stuff
2. Stab it in the butt.

#1 could be argued to be the more important of the two. >.>

I like the Deadly Boss Mods addon because it politely screams at me when something’s going on that I should be paying attention to. The other nice addon that I’ve found as a rogue is Discodice – it shows you how many combo points you have, and whether or not your ruptures, slice and dices, and hunger for blood (if you’re mutilate specced) are going to expire, so you can keep the dps up all the livelong day.

Mimiron’s one of the harder fights out there for melee, just in terms of ‘DON’T STAND IN THAT YOU WILL DIE’, Lord Jaraxxus is also somewhat of a pain, but for the most part, being a rogue is a heck of a lot of fun!

Lol cass I thought you were joking when you said in our chat that mimiron as melee was easy I guess you were being serious hehe.
Yeah i remember dying to the rockets on melee, I couldnt see anything lol, with pallies consecration on the ground and whatnot
I am interested to see what the fight is like as ranged – too bad i dont have any ranged characters

haha yeah, Melee definitely got -dkp Cass!!

I even decided to priortise buying a new computer because of Mimiron, since my 2-4fps on the fight made it almost impossible. + earning -dkp was simply embaressing and a real knock to my ego lol

i did -dkp for melee!!! shock blast + laser + mine ^_^

before the nerf melee get rockets too, with 10 melee stacking up its really hard to see
