just incase anyone was wondering….

The first reason most ppl in guild would come up with is that us tanks are lazy (which is also true lol).

But mainly we get lath to do it because she has healing aggro from them anyway. Thus she doesn’t need to target and taunt them, she can then move around and close the portals while healing and thus we lose no hps or dps via her closing the portals rather than a tank.

A tank doing it, is then unable to dps the boss while they have constellations, likewise they need to “be” in a certain place at a certain time to taunt, this is just additional hassle.

Only real drawback to this method, is if the druid isn’t able to multi task (and lath, being a lady, is able to multi task without any problems), or if the tank accidentially gets aggro on one or more (since she can’t conveniently taunt them). But then once the tank phases out from the 5th phase punch, he’s going to lose aggro on them anyway, it’s just a little less convenient for closing black holes until he gets phased.

Why do you have your healer close the constellations though? Having the non-active tank do it is the pain free way.
