Did you mean to post Conqueror’s Nightsong Vestments for the chest piece instead of the Conqueror’s Nightsong Robe? The robe is the one that gives you the set bonus, but the stats are similar.

@Fangael Oooh nice catch! Cloak of the Kea Feathers ranks just that little bit higher on Loot Rank so definitely go for that one. Whenever I look at the stats I automatically assume Disguise of the Kumiho is better, but because MP5 was boosted by 20% in the new patch Cloak of the Kea Feathers is now the better choice.

Lathere: Cloak question – Do you recommend Cloak of Kea feathers or disguise of the Kumiho? You link the Kumiho but writes Cloak of Kea feathers.

@Cass, Spirit for gems is still considered the better choice. Basically if you have Improved Tree of Life, you get approximately 2 Spell Power for every 1 Spirit. Spell Power is still our best stat & should be stacked wherever possible. Previously the SP/Spirit gem was way out in front, now with mp5 given a 20% boost, it’s in front… but not by much.

I already started looking for Mp5 stuff before 3.2, which perhaps is why I don’t feel the need to get more. I simply can’t remember the last time I went OOM during a fight. Usually I’m able to time to so I’m almost drained as a boss goes down. I’m not saying this to brag, but rather that mana conservation almost feel a bit too easy, so I’ve just started stacking SP now.

On another note. The Maly 25 neck reward is really nice, but finding a group to do it seems to be impossible. I’ve been sitting on the quest for weeks now. Dear Blizzard, I’ve killed Maly several times, I got the quest, why not just let me have my necklace?

If point for point MP5 is valued higher than Spellpower and Spirit, is it not worth gemming with MP5 gems? That’s not what Loot Rank is recommending, so perhaps I’m missing something here.

MP5 Gems:

Royal: Spell Power + MP5 (Purple Gem)
Lustrous: MP5 (Blue Gem)
