Improving the Interface Using Addons 8 – Elkanos Buff Bars

Cass’s major UI overhaul inspired me to do the same. I will admit I kinda cheated and copied many of her ideas – just set them up with a healer flavour. One standard UI feature she didn’t make any changes to, but I felt needed improvement was a new way to layout any buffs and debuffs my character was experiencing.

The Seeker

For some time now I have been questing in my spare time working on Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms and Loremaster of Kalimdor. At some point, with about 200 quests to do for each, I realised that I was going to achieve 3000 Quest Completed first. Having completed 3000 quests I now can be known as Cassandri the Seeker.

A Little Love for Protection Warriors

In Wrath of the Lich King, when I join a group, I like to be healing Protection Warriors over pretty much every other type of tank. Why? I’ll try to explain.

Resto Druid Tier 9: Malfurion’s Garb

I have been waiting in dread to see the alliance druid t9 gear but I will admit I’ve been pleasantly surprised! The female Night Elf looks pretty good in the full T9 set, I’m even OK with the beaky bird helm, and I’m quite excited about collecting it. Thank you MMO Champion for posting this!

Two Items I’d Like to See in World of Warcraft

There’s not enough items in World of Warcraft. These are the two that I want. Maybe some day someone from Blizzard will agree with me and actually implement them (I can dream, can’t I?).

Healing Heartbreak

Our guild finally got the Heartbreaker achievement from XT-002 Deconstructor on Thursday night after only a couple of wipes. I think the reason we were so successful tonight compared to our Wednesday night attempts was the healing team composition we put together. The healing team composition we used for success was:

* 2 Restoration Druids
* 2 Holy Priests
* 2 Restoration Shamans

Pain and Heartbreak

As soon as the Heart of the Deconstructor appears I pop a potion, dot, dot, dot and Shadowfiend then spam Mind Flay. This is one fight that I’m not happy with my own personal performance. Not even close. Our raid leader is setting the bar at 300k damage done to the heart and I can’t consistently make that mark.

Improving the Interface using Addons 7 – Decursive (Cleansing and Dispelling)

If you already have a good raid frame system set up you can use that to monitor magic, curses, diseases and poisons. However, if you’d like to have a separate, stand-alone Addon for quick click removal of nasty stuff I’d recommend Decursive.

Improving the Interface using Addons 6 – Grid (Raid Frames)

If you’ve wanted to try Grid but don’t know where to start you’ve come to the right place. Grid is intended to replace the default UI raid frames – you know, the groups 1-5 that you have dragged onto your screen from the Social>Raid window.

Benediction for Rinnum

A friend of mine recently quit World of Warcraft for the second time and I think this time it’s permanent. Rinnum gifted me with a ton of ore and enchanting mats. He also gave me The Eye of Shadow.
