HoTs and DoTs: A Restoration Druid and Shadow Priest

Do I Stay or Go?

I have a dilemma. I recently joined a guild who regularly run 10 man Naxxramas and Ulduar. The guild is trying to expand to 25 mans and a Hunter on my friends list invited me to the guild. I like this Hunter.

I’ve spent the last 2 days on Ventrillo with the members of this guild. To be frank, they talk shit. Non stop.

I knew shortly after joining that the founding members were mostly teenagers who knew each other in real life. I didn’t think this was a problem as I’ve played with some brilliant players in the past who were in high school. In fact, I bragged to Lathere that instead of being ganked by child prodigies I was going to have them on my side for once!

They don’t run a DKP system so in the short time I’ve been with the guild I’ve gotten some upgrades based purely on luck and rolls.

We successfully completed a 25 Naxx run which is better than most pug Naxx runs I’ve been part of – even if it spanned over 3 days. And we got Four Horsemen first go!

But by the time we got to the last wing in Naxx I had most of the raid on Mute. I can’t tell you how many times I heard “suck a big one Thaddius” or whatever boss we were on at the time. At least 20 times.

I was also told by their much respected Druid healer that hell no he wasn’t going to help me heal the tank for Sapphiron because Druids are raid healers don’t you know?

So staying in this guild would be beneficial for my character and gear but I have no desire to talk/listen to the other members.

Should I stay? Give them another chance?
